big news
i might be able to graduate on time...amanda and i were working on our potential fall schedules and i couldn't figure out what to do. i only needed 19 hours to graduate-besides student teaching and i could fit them all in except for the fact that 2 of them are "spring only" courses and 2 more of them were at the same exact time. so i didnt know what to do. i went and talked to my advisor and one of my professors-she should be my advisor but shes not-and we figured out that if she can teach me and atleast 1 other person in assessment then she will add it to the schedule for the fall-it's one of my "spring only" classes and then another one of them i dont have to have any more...so there is still a possibility that i will be able to finish my inclass stuff and student teach and then graduate on time!! i really hope that i can do this, however if i do then next fall will truly be hell on earth...atleast 20 hours, atleast 4 of my classes are classes with lots of observations, lesson teaching, and lesson plans...plus i will have to take all these praxis things next semester...
just hope and pray that i will be able to do this!

short up date
so it's been forever since i have posted last...at least it feels like forever.
since i have been so lax about posting ill give a brief overview of my life from the past few weeks...
~so now i'm at atleast 125* all by myself
~hopefully only another week with this stupid brace on
~mid-terms have come and are almost gone with very little hair pulling
~apparently i am blind in my left eye-i couldn't really see the big e
~amanda and i went to the scrapbook retreat and i had a blast
~i though i was getting sick, but i think my body was playing tricks on me
~drew cooked me the best steak i have ever eatin for valentine's day
~the tornado hit jackson and destroyed lots of things-NOT JUST UNION
~i realized i only have 19 hours of classes-before student teaching-in order to graduate on time but because several classes are "spring only" classes i still won't be able to graduate on time-very depressing
~i have gotten some grad schools to talk to me, even though it's over a year early
and now i have to cut this short because i have to goto physical therapy...i hope andy doesn't make me cry today, i dont like to cry...
love you all

the aftermath...
so it's been a few days since the storms...the truth about how devistating the storms were is coming out and it's horrible. don't get me wrong, it's horrible but im so tired of hearing about union, im tired of hearing just about union. yes it's a miracle that so many of their students walked away with not a scratch-but there still were those few who are still suffering in the hosiptal...and need we forget the other's in not only jackson, but memphis, and everyone around us. no one died at union-2 people died in denmark tn-about 15 min southwest of jackson and are we hearing much about that no. in one of the last rounds of tornaods denmark was leveled-i observed at the elementary school last year and on the main road in the town you could still see the exact path that the tornado took-it destroyed homes, lives, schools, and so much more-and in this round that tiny community lost two more people...yes it's almost total destruction at union-but it's also total destruction in some residential areas here in jackson and other places. come on people-union is not the only place damaged, the students were not the only one who lost places to live, not the only ones to loose everything they had--
this post sounds really bitchy but it's how i feel-yes everyone suffers, yes union suffered and will suffer for years to come, but so will the families, so will the old people who lived in jackson oaks, so will the employees at that place in memphis who lost 3 co-workers, so will the citezins of denmark...
don't just pray for union, don't just pray for your family, don't just pray for your friends, don't just pray for you city, pray for everyone, pray for the crews trying to restore power, pray for the nurses, pray for the desaster response teams, pray for the construction workers, pray for students, pray for peace, pray for our environment...pray for everything-not just one group, not just one student, not just for one school, not just for one area...
