so as you may remember, my sr. thesis paper was due last friday and the whole point of these is to tie our major-or something in our major-to the thinkers we talked about in jr and sr seminar. the tradition is that each sr sem teacher picks 1 or 2 "excellent" papers and then those go to a group of professors and they pick the ones to be read at the sr thesis convo...well after class dr dennis was like miranda and stephanie will you hold on a min i need to talk to you...well needless to say we were scared to death about what this woman was going to say to us...and basically she wanted to tell us that our papers, plus one more were in contention to be submitted to be read at the convo, but that only 2 not 3 would be...so basically she said that i made and A on my sr. thesis and that there was a chance that i would have the honor of presenting it to a room full of faculty and some studnets that were most likely required to be there...she was going to read them again and then let us know via email which ones she picked...secretly i want it to be mine but then again, i don't because i don't want to get up infront of professors talk about my paper...but i guess we will find out this afternoon!!
