so this weekend has been both very long and very short...and to explain, this blog will probably end up being a b.b., so just be prepared.
*first of all on friday i took my 1 free day from student teaching to get my stuff ready for saturday--which i will explain next. so i woke up, went to school, helped out with tcaps and left school by like 10:15...wish i hadn't had to take the day off, but i really needed it...
*now for why i took the day off, i went to the rutherford county school teacher fair thing in murfreesboro yesterday and that was an experience. i got there about 20 minutes early and there were already probably close to 200 people there to fight over talking to principals of the schools in the rutherford county school system. i got to talk to a few, wasn't as promising as i had hoped but a few schools were going to call to set up interviews within the next week, so that is still an open door, just not as open as i had hoped.
*found this AMAZING used book store in nashville that will become my new favorite place to shop-taking the place of goodwill...i got sooo many teacher books as well as children's books for less than 7 bucks a piece, and some for only 50 cents!!! it was a fabulous find in nashville and i plan on heading back!!
*then formal last night...my last agd formal as a college student, full of drama of course, but entertaining.
*now today...i have sooo much work to do, so i will leave this here and go work on that, hope you all have a great week!
